Domain and Name Servers

Before creating a hosting account you need a domain name to point the hosting to, we use Ukreg as our domain registrar. Once you have a domain name you can Buy/Create a hosting account, once created your host should give you Domain Name Server. Change your name servers for domain name to point your domain to your hosting provider. The domain name registration control will remain with your Domain Registrar.

A file transfer protocol allows you to transfer files from your personal computer to your hosting server.
Instructions to connect to your FTP:
Go to Internet Explore
Type in Ftp.yourdomain.com
Go to File > Log in
Type in your log in details
Instructions to Upload Files to your FTP:
Click Public_Html - Files viewable by the public
Open your website files fold on your computer
Drag and Drop your website files into your public_html
You should now be equipped with all the necessary's to get your website online!
