This tutorial we teach you how to create a very professional and clean website for a hosting company.
Start by creating as we always do a new table with these settings:
To start building the layout i like to choose some page properties for the appearance of the site, you can find the page properties at the bottom of dreamweaver in the properties section.
In the first table type your company name and use these settings, we are going to link the text to the homepage.
In the second row we are going to create a new talbe with these options:
We are going to give the table a white border and for the bottom row choose a different shade of blue for each column, you should have something like this:
We are going to center each column in the top row and put the text for our links, you should have this:
As you can see the columns are now different widths, to solve this problems highlight the columns and give them a width of 200pixels and it will make them more even.
You should now have this:
In the third row we are going to create a new table, this time using these settings:
In the left colum we are going to put a testimonial followed by server information, for the server information add a new table with these options:
Click in the left column where your text is for the testimonial and we will add a image of quote marks for a background image.
You will notice the image repeats and looks rather weird, on the right hand side you will see your relevant css settings and go to Background-Repeat and choose no-repeat.
You should now have this:
In the right column we are going to add page content:
Now in the fourth row we are going to add a Horizontal Rule.
Now go to your fifth row and add a new table with these settings:
Give the table border a colour of white, in the bottom row choose a blue background, you should have this:
In the top row of this new table add your hosting image, you should have this:
Add hosting information and you should have this:
Now in the bottom row go to Text > Characters > Copyright
And you should now have this increadible hosting layout:
