Take the text tool and create your text. You will now have text options under your toolbar, here you can change fonts, size and appearence. For more options click the Toggle the Character and Paragraph palettes button.

You will now have a window pop up:

There are a wide range of fonts to choose from, scrole down and choose one.

To bold your text click Regular and scrole to bold.Note

: For different fonts there are more options, from bold, italic, bold italic etc.Here

is the different between the photoshop bold and regular with our font Tahoma.

Now to set the anti-aliasing method
