Background Styles When working with gradient backgrounds in dreamweaver, once the the background stops, it will repeat the gradient so it will go from the bottom lighter colour to a dark colour. To get rid of this, this tutorial will show you how to carry on the last colour in your gradient. Create a New Style Sheet. Create a new class with a new style sheet file. Click OK and save your file. We will choose our background gradient image as our Background Image, we are going to take the colour of the last pixel of the gradient and put it as our Background colour so when the background gradient runs out it will carry on the last colour. Click OK > Done > Done You should now have a gradient background: Tutorial Complete. If you would like more help with this tutorial please register and visit the forum. |
