To create styles, go to the bottom of your dreamweaver to the Properties Panel and go Styles > Manage Styles. Now Click New. We are going to create a Style for just this webpage, we will choose:

Selector Type: Class
  Definine: This Document Only (if you choose a new style sheet file then it will create a new file (yourstyle.css).

We are going to choose a type: Text colour of green. Now Click OK.

You can now apply this to your text and it will change it to green.
