Design your own 'Fart Button'

Introduction

Have you ever seen those annoying push the fart button ads? Well here yuo can learn how to create your own fart button with Photoshop. See what fun you can have!

Step 1.

Start by creating a new document. Now fill the background with a dark-bluish color. The color I used was #23344a.
Now add in a nice texture into the background and blend it nicely.

Lastly for the background apply Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen then Filter > Render > Lighting Effects.

Step 2.

After making out your background, make a new layer for the orb button we're going to make.
After making a new layer, make a rounded selection on the background using the Elliptical Marquee Tool, any size will do, fill the selection with any color.

After filling your selection, go into the Blending Options for the orb layer and apply the following settings:

• Outer Glow
  Be sure you used black (#000000) as the color.
• Inner Glow
  The color used for this inner glow is #bc1609.
• Bevel and Emboss
• Bevel and Emboss -- Contour
• Gradient Overlay
  #ff2815 to #8c0900

You should now have a result like this:

Now you have a very nice looking, glossy orb!

Step 3.

Now you need to add in your text to the button. I first wrote out my text in white (#ffffff) then applied the following layer styles:

• Outer Glow
  Outer glow color used: #b01307
• Gradient Overlay
  Plain black to white gradient with low opacity.

You should have text similar to this now:

Step 4.

Now lastly you just need to add in the text 'The Fart Button', and whatever else you want to. Feel free to experiment.
