Borders, Padding, Spacing Create a new table (Insert>Table) and use these options: Rows: 4 Columns: 1 Width: 100 Pixels You will now have this:
We are going to give our table a border, we can do this by going to the Properties panel at the bottom and changing Border: 0 to Border: 2 You will now have this:
We are now going to make the table again and give it a Cell Padding, to do this you change the CellPad: 0 to CellPad: 10. This will give your table 10 pixels padding from the text inside it. You will now have this:
We are now going to give the table a CellSpace, change it from CellSpace: 0 to CellSpace: 2, this will give a space of 2 pixels between each row and column. Keeping a cell padding of 10, you would now have this.
To get the full effects of the cell spacing you can give your table a background colour, you will now have this:
