  4. Great list but one guy I think you forgot that should be on there is Gurbaksh Chahal. He sold his website for like 300 million to Yahoo and wrote a great book as well.

    why isn’t Eric Bauman on this list? He sold his site (ebaumsworld.com) for 10 million and made tons of profit off of it before he sold it.

    Actually i was a little off, he actually sold ebaumsworld for 15 million with 2.5 million in stocks and has made over 52.5 million in cash and stock over 3 years…There is no reason why he shouldn’t be on this list since he is young.

  37. Wow, Perez Hilton no longer looks like that photo, and he is even more successful than before.

    What astonishes me most is that many of these websites are free to use. That alone should be a big enough reason to build a website(s) that offer a free service and then charge advertisers.
