The RetireAt21 Best Idea Award

Quite simply, this is a prize for the entrant who has in the opinion of the Judges, made the best Business / Website Idea submission.

Do you have a brilliant idea? A burning desire to create a new type of website, a new type of business?

Could your idea be the next YouTube or Google? Or Perhaps you just have a better way to do something that already exists?

Remember, this award is for the IDEA - you do not have the business or website fully launched yet, but of course we would like to see a Mock-up in the case of a website or a business description would be even better. If you have a business plan, email that in confidence to retireat21@midascode.co.uk

Ideally, information we would like to see is as follows:

1) A Mock-up or Fully Working Website
2) What is different about your business / website, compared to others?
3) If it is already launched, some details on visitors and earnings to date
4) Your revenue model, how will you make money?
5) If you need investment, how do you plan to get that? Friends? Parents? Banks? Venture Capital? Business Angels?
6) Business Plan if available

And of course any other information that you think might persuade the Judges that your entry is the best?

The Judges will not be judging exclusively on the quality of the submission - it really is the IDEA that matters. Indeed it is possible to win this award with an idea alone.

THE PRIZES:

First Prize: The Best Idea Award (TBIA) - This member will receive $500 plus a

1st Runner Up - The Best Idea Award - This member will receive $200.00 Cash, The R21 Webmaster Pack and two months of Advertising as a Site Partner. (Value $100)

If you would rather not go into detail on these boards (for confidentiality reasons) about your ideas, you may email us details of your business idea / business plan at retireat21@midascode.co.uk - putting The Best Idea Award in the subject line. However, if you do go with that option, you must still declare yourself as an entrant by making a post here. Something like "I have Emailed My Idea" will do.

And another point, all entries must be LEGAL and not breach anyone elses Copyright © - so please give consideration to this also.

EARLY ENTRANCE BONUS

As an extra incentive to enter early, we will enter all of the first 10 entrants into a DRAW, with the winner of that DRAW receiving $50 (paid Via Paypal) The draw will take place just as soon as we have 10 entrants declared. So get your entries in early!

Hey here's a question, what are the limitations of this contest? As in, some people could make stuff up like "my site will offer games, music, video, books and even software downloads for cheap". Such ideas in itself contain 5 possible unique ideas. Any restrictions?

Umm, on another note, would it possible to send in an idea and hear some feedback on it, maybe to make some adjustments? Because my idea isn't that far off but there might be certain concerns.

I have sent out my IDEA vie email, please, if possible, let me hear some feedback. once the entry is accepted i will publicly announce it here.

Firstly, congratulations on an excellent submission, very professional and business like. I have to say, many aspects of it are unique to me (never heard of it before) and I'm not entirely sure that it is possible to do this at present, but for sure it is a BIG IDEA

Ref your other question, I doubt very much that a site just offering "games, music, video, books and even software downloads for cheap" will be a winner in this competition. We are looking for something at least a bit unique and different.

Now of course the site could be about games etc, but to WIN, it would need to have a different or somewhat unique way of separating itself from all the other GAME sites out there.

So an idea that takes something EXISTING and puts a different spin or angle on it will be very welcome.
