Shane and I are working on iStudyBuddies.com

Going to have great features, listed below

- 2 Different Groups
- Students
- Teachers

- Students are going to be grouped with their corresponding teacher. They will be able to turn-in homework to their teacher, and access grades that their teacher uploads. They will also be able to access upcoming homework assignments they will have to complete, these homework assignments will be set by their teacher. When they turn in their homework to their teacher, it will be auto-scanned for plagerism.

- Students can also access cliff-notes, all sorts of studying tips, and there will be a Homework Sharing system put in play where students across the world will be able to upload and download other peoples homework. Only supposed to be used for educational purposes

- There will also be online interactive lessons for students.

- Teacher will also have their access to teaching tips and strategies, as well as the teacher-student interaction listed above. Teachers will have free hand-outs and worksheets that they can download, or share with other teachers.

- Both, teachers and students will have a forum were they can discuss what they please.

- If a teacher recently uploads new grades, or assigns a new assignment, all of their corressponding students will be auto-sent a private messege that a new teacher update has been made.


So far lol, we have written a bunch of Student tips, and have enabled the forum. All the other categories are set up and we are searching for Joomla components that would help us reach what we have made our goal.

Nevertheless, we expect to need some custom programming, so if you know PHP or are willing to invest in this site Contact me lol, look at my signature...

And ya, we already have Shane's school saying they would but this if it all goes as we have suggested.

I think this can be a great success.....assuming we get everything listed above done
