My wife is a new author with a book coming out in the next few months. We've heard that an internet presence is critical for sales. Her site links back to the publisher for direct purchases from the publisher. As soon as the book is printed, the site will also contain links to the stores where it can be purchased. I can't believe it's much different than any other type of site, but does anyone have any advice about the best way to advertise an author's site?
