I could certainly be off on this but I see where you are coming from Michael. It's as if their own personal monetization was the last thing on their minds and then it hit them 'oh sh#*! we need some ad revenue hurry up and Google what to do!' It reads as tremendously poor planning and in my eyes a bit unprofessional. Adsense is good small, and unobtrusive. Go 4 funding needs to go back to design school, or at least consult with a u.i. firm before the launch a site that looks like a scraper site pushing ads.
