Young Entrepreneur Weekly Thoughts – 15th February 2009
Hello Everyone,
On Monday Charlie and I are of to Chichister which is about a 30 minutes drive from us to see Shane Hudson for a video interview about starting a blog young. I have a secret task in mind for them so make sure to check in next week to see how they get on with it.
Yesterday I read a very touching story by Mike about why you should do what you want to do right now! It just goes to show that you shouldn’t just wait till you retire to do what you want and enjoy, achieve financial freedom as soon as possible and do spend life the way you want to! It is also important to balance your life, work and family otherwise you will miss out on the important things in life.
Dreams and dedication are a powerful combination – William Longgood
On Wednesday morning I fly of over the pond with my Dad, Dean and Mason to Yanik Silvers Underground Online Seminar event in Washington which I have been looking forward to for months, I will make sure to bring you daily updates of what is happen. If you are attending Yanik’s then please let me know, it would be great to meet up with my readers.
I would like to also give a shout to one of our advertisers who has now got 4 advertising spots on Retire at 21! A couple weeks ago he told me that one of his $35 text adverts got him a $1000 commission promoting thousand dollar profits. Thank you Michael Mason for supporting Retire at 21.

Shout Outs in The Young Entrepreneur World
I have been following a 15 year old young blogger called Patrick DeVivo for a while now and he’s been working on a new site called Youth Blogger, a place for young blogger’s to collaborate. It appears he’s finally getting the site together and we could see a new place for young blogger’s to hang out! Yippi!
Over the last couple years I have been talking to Lachy Gro, when I first met him he had just learnt to code in xHTML and was always looking for work. He’s now launched a successful xHTML to PSD service and a blog for designers and codes. He has recently been interviewed by Sitepoint, the reason why I mention this is he’s only 14 years old and he’s already taken action to start making money online, he is a inspiration to us all. He has agreed to do a interview for Retireat21 and so you will be able to learn more about him soon.
15 Year old Alex of Blogussion has really been showing us other young blogger’s up, he has only last month launched his blog and has already established himself as a “ProBlogger”. Yesterday he monetized the website for the very first time by offering adverts and paid reviews, so I decided to snap one while they are still cheap.
If you are a young blogger or entrepreneur then feel free to send me a email and join in on one of our many MSN and Skype mastermind sessions.
To our success,
Michael Dunlop
If you're really considering making a living through blogging, then you absolutely have to check out Blogging To The Bank by Rob Benwell. In his book, the UK millionaire blogger reveals step by step how he makes as much as $90,480 a month from just a few hours work.
Just starting your blog? Check out Become a Blogger where you can find all the information you will ever need so that you can create your first website, drive traffic to it and then make your first few dollars. To make this a no-brainer for you, I have contacted the creator of Become a Blogger and persuaded them to give you a $1 trial so you can test it out basically for FREE.

Thanks for referencing my post Michael! I wish I wasn’t too oold to qualify as a young entrepreneur! But I really enjoy reading your posts, and hope I can contribute from time to time as an oldie, but a goody!
This is a really inspiring post! I wish I’ve been as clever as you guys are when I was 15
If I started at 15, damn probably I’d be somewhere in Hawaii right now. I envy and applaud the people that start at such a young age.
