Young Entrepreneur Weekly Thoughts – 08 February 2009

Hello Everyone,

What do you see as the most important thing in your life? Health? Business? Love? Well I hope to include more of the three together here on Retireat21, because to be successful it doesn’t just take hard work and long hours, you have to look after yourself and as well as working hard, you must play hard.

For those of you who feel they are healthy and business is going well and you just looking for love, no fear I am going to release a great blog post on Thursday offering you “Top 10 Tips For Geek’s to Pick Up Babes on Valentines Day”. Although I am sure you aren’t all Geek’s (Although I do think myself as one sometimes) the advise is more geared towards pulling a girl Saturday night.

What’s Hot in the Young Entrepreneur World

David Leggett was accepted into Yanik Silvers Young Entrepreneurs Challenge and will now be attending the Underground Online Seminar in a couple weeks. David Wilkinson also was accepted but is unable to make it because his parents are unable to get the time of work. If you were accept then please let me know and I will look forward to seeing you there.

Mark Zuckerberg launched Facebook 5 years ago when he was 19 and has released a slide show that highlights Facebook’s evolving Web design. Facebook has certainly came a long way since he started the site in his Dorm room, in fact we are going to be speaking about the success of Mark and other top entrepreneurs who dropped out of college on Tuesday in a great new top list we are launching.

It seems that now everyone wants to be helping young entrepreneurs succeed in business, first Yanik Silver, then DELL and now EA and Best Buy have teamed up to bring a fun, creative and intellectually challenging competition for teens called “Invent a (Video) Game”. Its really simple, come up with a idea, tell EA and Best Buy about it and you could win $10,000! To enter the contest, please click here.
