If you go to Iceland try for the April-June Months. Why not July or August? Because it will be light at 1 AM. So go when you have the warmest months with the decent amount of light and darknest. I visited once and we went to The Pearl for dinner. It's got an amazing view. You don't have to eat there to see the view though they have decks and what not. Oh and we met the architect too. She was doing a project for school and was building a scale model of it, and we were able to just ask for blueprints at the architect's office and they handed it over just saying to send back photos of the model after..
