Yanik Silver Underground Event – Day 2 Recap
Hello Everyone,
Wow, what a great day at the Underground Online Seminar! I have met some really cool speakers, young entrepreneurs, CEO’s and ever a COO. The days speakers included Tony Hsieh, Ryan Allis, Carrie Wilkerson and Greg Poulos. Tony Hsieh blew us all away with his business ethics and how he built up a business to $1 billion in yearly sales, Tony was very approachable and seemed just like any other person at the event. I have been following Carrie Wilkerson on Twitter for a few months now and as soon as I found her I started to see her everywhere! She spoke about networking and making friendships online and she certainly has proven that anyone can in just over a year can be a huge internet success!
We have been really working hard on our forums on Retireat21.com and since speaking with the young entrepreneur attendees I have learnt that Marshall Haas, Albert Stevens, Patricio Quezada, Garrett Goldsmith, Tyler Lamphere and Alex Maroko have all joined the forums so definitely worth signing up just for the chance to network with these guys!
Speaking with Young Entrepreneur Ryan Allis of iContact
Ryan has been a young entrepreneur I have been following for a long time now and it was a great pleasure to see him and in tomorrows recap you will learn just how cool he really is! A couple weeks before meeting Ryan I had sent a email to him asking him if he would do a interview for Retireat21 and he agreed to so look out for that in the coming weeks, he has a lot of knowledge to share and I even struggled to keep up with my note taking for his presentation!

Hanging Out With Cool Entrepreneurs
One of the 10 young entrepreneurs invited to the seminar by Yanik was Albert Steven who is a affiliate marketer and seems a very intelligent young man! He is very switched on and has shared with some of us other young entrepreneurs his tactics for affiliate marketing, hopefully I will get the chance to work with him real soon!

Most of the time at the event I hanged out with 20 year old David Leggett and 13 year old superstar eBay user Garrett Goldsmith. That evening Garrett’s Dad, Frank, invited us to having dinner with them which was probably the best dinner I had at the event. I enjoyed our conversations over dinner, we debate and discussed ideas and speakers at the event. I enjoyed listening and speaking with Cynthia, she has just got out of the real estate business and is now looking to run a Internet business, she loved the business model of Mike Geary who only works a hour a day running his business from anywhere in the world, yet earns millions of dollars every year. I personally love the whole idea of "4 hour work week" and I am quite close to it but after this mind blowing experience at Underground 5 I want to spend a month just implementing new ideas and techniques! By far the best Underground for me so far.
Here’s a picture of us at Dinner…

Young Entrepreneur Interview – Speaking With Marshall Haas
In the evening a bunch of the young entrepreneurs came and joined me for a mastermind section where we bounced ideas of each other and we shared some blogging tips. After we have finished I asked to speak with Marshall to answer a few questions on video for you guys, truly a smart and inspiring young man.
If you want to find out more about Marshall and his business then see his blog, Juvenile Business.
To our success in 2009,
Michael Dunlop
