All the links in the world won’t maximize your search engine ranking if your blog isn’t optimized for search engines correctly. A good search engine ranking will help determine the outcome of your blog’s success. Let’s look into how your content plays a critical part in SEO. Keep in mind, this is only a short article on this topic, there is much more that you can learn about search engine optimization for blogs.
Keyword rich content is a major player on this field. You should pick a few keywords that you’re hoping will get you listed highly on search engines such as Google or Yahoo. Don’t pick too many keywords, instead make sure that you know what your targeted visitors will be searching for, the types of web pages that are pulled up when you type this keyword into the search engine, and what your competing sites are using for keywords. When you understand this, you should have a good idea of what keywords you would like to see repeated quite a few times throughout your article.
Make sure that you update your blog on a regular basis. The more often that you update your blog will determine how often search engines will send their crawlers to crawl your blog. This means that your new articles will get indexed in a short amount of time rather than having to wait for a long time to get indexed. This is a major benefit that has come natural to blogging.
You should be able to tell by now that content plays a major role in your search engine ranking. If you make sure that your content is taking advantage of helping you improve your search engine ranking, you will reap some wonderful benefits. After all, search engine traffic is what we really want. A higher search engine ranking is what maximizes traffic coming to your blog from search engines. There are several definitions of Search Engine Optimization on the web that you can learn this from further.

Hello Ahson. A keyword rich blog article is good for search engines but what I have found even more effective is keyword phrases.
If you’re using header tags for your article, try using a keyword phrase like “Get Cheap Web Hosting” instead of “Web Hosting.” And of course if some of these keywords and keyword phrases are links then search engines find those to be a little more in value than simple text.
I’m not sure search engine traffic is what I really want in my business. What I really want are conversions – people who read and buy.
When I write a blog post, article, or web page, my “really want” focus is on convincing people to buy from me – and that’s how I write. However, I don’t do anything to “upset” search engines as well.
