Making Money Online

It’s no longer a secret that a blog’s search engine ranking determines how big its success will actually be. Links to your blog will play a major part in how you are ranked within the search engines. Simply put, links from relevant and higher ranking sites will build your trust with search engines such as Google. This will cause the search engine to index your blog better while helping you get to the top of the search results. In turn this will increase the amount of search engine traffic that your blog receives.

A very popular choice among many webmasters is using directories to build links. A lot of webmasters stand by this strategy firmly. The first thing that they will do is submit links to vital pages with relevant keywords within the links. This is a way that you can quickly build links to your blog. Be careful when submitting to directories, there are many “link farms” out there that can hurt your search engine ranking before you even get one. There are many directories available on the Internet, most of them are free to submit links to. I have found a list of blog directories that might be helpful to you.

Let your fellow bloggers know about your content. This is not a tip to tell you to start spamming other bloggers asking for links. Instead, if the blogger is writing relevant content that is related to your blog, this could be a good chance to make yourself known. If you write a high-quality article that you think fellow bloggers would find interesting, send them a short and courteous e-mail letting them know about your blog post. They may not link up with you, just don’t let this bring you down. On the other hand, they could link up with you. This will not only bring you additional traffic from the link itself, but it will also help you increase your search engine ranking.

This is such a short and useful article. I think if you write a few more paragraphs it could be a very nice indeed.

Yes, the page rank is the hardest to achieve. Without the search engines finding you, and placing you fairly close to the top, you are never going to get the traffic you deserve. Thank you for the list of directories, I am checking them out right now!
