BlueVerse Website Review

Today we are reviewing Blueverse.com

Blueverse Topics

Blueverse covers numerous topics: Freelancing, Blogging, SEM, and making money online. All of which are huge industries of their own. I am not going to get into the niche debate, but it would be very difficult to stay up-to-date on all of these topics.

Appearance

I really like the appearance of the blog. It is clean, but sleek and has an element of web 2.0 as well. I think this gives the site a professional but friendly appearance, and I am sure that will help the site sell adverts etc…

Speaking of which…

Ad Success

As you can see, they have successfully sold out all 6 ad spots on the site. This is very impressive, and those advertisers have the added bonus of being shown here at Retireat21 as well ;-)

The selling of all the ad spots shows me that either the site is getting a lot of targeted traffic, or the owner has a lot of contacts in the industry, either way, it is impressive.

There is a fine line

I am all for clever marketing and selling, but I think the Technically Blueverse is a PR6 blog post is pushing it too far. Technically it is pr4, all other tools are at best VERY rough estimates that mean absolutely nothing in the real world. It is one thing to make a post like this for a bit of fun on your blog (which it initially was), but putting it at the top of your advertisers page is perhaps a little un-ethical, and I believe there is a fine line here that is probably best not crossed.

That said, overall I love the site, it is very impressive, and I had to nitpick to find even a minor fault.

5 Reasons to Check Out Blueverse.com Today

Here are 5 reasons you should visit Blueverse.com today:

1 – Ambition

The owner is very ambitious, and this is always a great quality in entrepreneurs. Check out his goals for 2008.

2 – The Personality

The about page has a really personal edge to it, and we learn cool aspects of Ashon’s life. I believe all about pages should have this personal touch.

3 – Free SEO Book

We all love freebies, and you can get the Blueverse SEO Book today. It is always a great way to build a list by giving something for free, so props to Ashon for this cool idea.

4 – Wordpress Themes

They give away Wordpress themes through their site. This used to be a great way to build tons of links, but since the dampening of sitewide links and the fact that the major Wordpress sites no longer allow sponsors, this technique has perhaps peaked. But still, it shows that Ashon has some impressive development skills.

5 – Because we said so

We don’t review awful sites. So go and check out Blueverse today, you won’t be disappointed.

If you're really considering making a living through blogging, then you absolutely have to check out Blogging To The Bank by Rob Benwell. In his book, the UK millionaire blogger reveals step by step how he makes as much as $90,480 a month from just a few hours work.

Just starting your blog? Check out Become a Blogger where you can find all the information you will ever need so that you can create your first website, drive traffic to it and then make your first few dollars. To make this a no-brainer for you, I have contacted the creator of Become a Blogger and persuaded them to give you a $1 trial so you can test it out basically for FREE.
