@Barry – I get probably %40 of my daily traffic from that one post. Buzz content can really propel a site to the top. I’ve had a few other posts do fairly well but not as good as that one.

I try to write Buzz Worthy content without being all hyped up. Sometimes its hard to find the line between value to readers and value to buzz.

I just have to say – “28 Reasons NOT to buy a mountain bike from Wal-Mart.” is an awesome BUZZ TITLE!!! Made me want to read and I don’t even own a bike!

I am truly flattered.

I have worked pretty hard to make my blog what it is and I’m glad that someone who knows the ins and outs of blogging and site design appreciates what I have done. I know I like it but I wasn’t sure how others felt about it.

I didn’t know CSS or how to use style sheets (still not that good at it honestly) before I started this site. I have learned it all as I needed to or wanted to do something new. So you are absolutly right that a great looking site doesn’t have to cost a lot of money.

My template was free and I paid $20.00 US for the logo design on E-Bay. There are all sorts of graphic designers selling their services on there. Its great.

Most importantly, the three areas for improvement you mentioned are right on target. I totally agree with you. I just hadn’t really considered it. I’ll definitely be making those changes.
